Dynamica
January 2015
A concept about transformation in material/ clothing.
The color of the fabrics changes when heated.
The purpose of the colorchange is to create interaction between people, this will make people more aware of the clothing.
I think fashion has become a standard daily thing, and I want fashion to become an experience again.
The designs are based on different experiments I did with manipulation of fabrics and material.

The Fabric
For this design I chose to use the fabric I have developed for this project.
It is one of the experiments with the heat sensitive ink.
The fabric is made of 3 layers:
-
The base: a glittery purple cotton
-
The middle: Fiberfill dyed with pink heat sensitive ink ( the pink turns into neon when heated)
-
The upper: Organza dyed with blue heat sensitive ink ( the blue gets transparent when heated)
